About Johor Events

Assalamualaikum & Greetings to all,

First and foremost, thank you for dropping by!

This is not my first blog. I have been blogging since, err I can't remember anymore. But I have stopped blogging for reasons I do not wish to disclose here.

The truth is I thought about creating a new blog while I was driving to work this morning. I saw a number of banners along the way and I remembered about a blog I used to visit when I was studying oversea. A very simple blog but very informative. It listed activities and events happening in and around the city. I normally visit the blog to find out about free activities/events, places I can visit and take my kids during the weekend - I have two beautiful daughters by the way :)

Since coming back home, I have been on the lookout for free and fun activities/events for my kids and of course for myself as well. Basically I was looking for a one-stop centre where I could access all these information anytime and anywhere. Simply put, an online medium.

I have been doing a bit of sharing on facebook but I'm thinking perhaps I am not alone. There may be many others who are just like me - looking for FREE and FUN activities to fill the weekends. And perhaps some of you - just like me - would rather concentrate on driving the car than reading and memorising the dates/venues/times of the events on the banners!

Hence, the creation of this blog called 'Johor Events'.

I appreciate comment, suggestions and surely am obliged if anyone would like to add in any events in this blog - free of charge :)
